Happy First Birthday Sophia.

Having a great vacation at the beach. Sophie has enjoyed the  beach and played some frisbee with Kahlua. She loves getting cookies every day from Lydia up the street. She has learned to guard the Motor Home by watching and barking. Best of all she is no longer car sick. She has become an RV Dog!

Sophie's Birthday at Melbourne Beach Florida

Sophie's Birthday is 20 May 2016. We went to Mel Beach for 3 weeks. The dogs have enjoyed the time here. We have gotten a couple of day to let them play frisbee on the beach. It is not lawful here, but mostly overlooked. They have so enjoyed the time here. I have enjoyed it more. Pictures from Mel Beach and our 3 week vacation RVing.

Skinny and Pretty

Sophie is 11 months old and only 40 pounds. She is slim and trim. All muscle and bones. She runs fast and eats well, but is a grazer. She is the size of my other lab, but half the weight. She had a nice summer haircut the other day by a professional, not me, so she looks fabulous. When you come home Sophie grabs a toy and comes after you wagging her whole butt, and poking you with her toy. She loves to be acknowledged and love on. What a wonderful addition to our family. Kahlua adores her and so do we.

10 Months old. Where has the time gone?

Sophie is getting bigger. She is right at 39 pounds. All skinny and legs. She is a graze eater and has a temperamental stomach. What a fun bundle of fur and joy she has brought to all of us.

Palatka's Birthday Party at Doggy World

Today from 2-3 pm we had a birthday party for Palatka. We had three contest. The first was to see who could keep their party hat on for one minute.  The second contest was to see who would bark on command. The third contest was for the dogs to bob for hot dog slices in a bowl of water. It was fun. We then had birthday cake for us and the dogs. Sophie enjoyed herself.
