Adjustment Time

Kahlua and Sophie are getting along better and better each day. Kahlua spends a lot of her time on our king size bed, which is a safe haven away from little Sophie. Kahlua is tolerating more and more each day. Today she even allowed  chewy sharing. She is still a little rough in the yard with leashes so she had to be called back. Sophie is still too little for Kahlua's rough play. They will adapt as Sophie gets bigger.

Sophie's New Toy

Sophie is popular in the neighborhood. All our friends are coming to see her and some even bear gifts. We are so blessed to live here in The Great Outdoors. Sophie is getting used to the routine here and adapting well. Kahlua is still a little jealous of her new sister, but she will adjust in time. Sophie enjoys playing with my neighbors 1 year old Lacy. They run their little hearts out.  Sophie is much better at potty training. She makes very few mistakes now. I am so glad after 11/2 weeks she is just about trained with frequent outings.

Bonding and growing up.

Kahlua our lab is open to fun and games now. The two are bonding. Sophie has mastered the stairs as of yesterday. So fun watching them play. Sophie gets under the bed and they bark at each other. Sophie knows how to hide under bed, chairs and tables to keep herself safe. I think she must be a smart dog. She is figuring things out quickly.
